With a scenic reef protected coastline, this quaint neighborhood is mostly populated with a Caymanian community where you can still experience the old time charm and grace of yesteryear. Rich in history, Bodden Town was the first capital of the Cayman Islands and continues to offer a peek at the past. Mission House, one of the area’s most popular attractions, showcases what life was like for early Caymanian settlers.
Local artists create beautiful wood carvings and hand painted pieces for purchase. The area also has hidden pirate caves, its own public beach and the “Lighthouse”, a world-class restaurant with water deck dining. The area offers several beachfront properties, as well as more modest single-family homes inland. It has an exceptionally cultural feel and a strong sense of community.
